Captain Remy visits the newly reopened lounge, Paddy’s Loft, where Samuel, the bartender, serves her and engages in conversation. The two discuss the ship, life aboard it, and form a tentative connection. Remy remains mindful of her duties, but a foundation for friendship—or more—is established as they prepare to continue their discussion elsewhere.
