The crew arrives early to prepare Serenity's docking ring for extraction of the shuttle Nostromo. Taylon handles technical setup and clean-up, while Shelly inspects her shuttle and vents frustration at the disorder. Nash retrieves his calibration scanner and assists in identifying the magnetic seal holding the shuttle in place. Using shield polarity reversal, thrusters, and careful monitoring of magnetic resonance and energy readings, the team successfully frees Nostromo. Coordination between operations, engineering, and piloting ensures the shuttle is safely returned to Astrea's shuttlebay. The operation highlights problem-solving under pressure, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols.
