Joey enters the session to observe and engage the children, particularly Jheva, who initially responds with hostility due to past trauma. Feeva temporarily leaves the room to attend to Jacques and communicate with Command, allowing Joey to attempt a therapeutic connection. Through guided conversation, requests to recount happy memories, and gentle intervention, Joey begins to bridge the gap between the children and adult facilitators, though his inexperience with trauma-exposed youth is evident. Feeva returns to de-escalate tensions, redirect the children, and provide structured support, including time with Jacques, creative activities, and Holodeck access. The session highlights the challenges of trauma-informed care, emotional validation, and creating safe spaces for children to process grief, fear, and anger while building trust in their caregivers.
