Remira Johansen arrives at the Daystrom Institute, transported through Starfleet security to begin her new research assignment. Daniel Jackson greets her and updates her on her lab assignment, revealing she has the autonomy to assemble her own team. That evening, the two celebrate privately at Daniel’s apartment, sharing champagne and discussing the logistics of her upcoming work, as well as their personal plans for living closer together. Five days later, they share a bittersweet farewell in San Francisco before Remy departs for the Excelsior to start preparing for the transfer of her research, solidifying both a new career milestone and a deepening romantic bond.
