Alexandra’s First Move

Location: USS Arcadia – Family Quarters

With Nash just returned from his shift, Sara encourages him to tell their daughter Alexandra about his reassignment to Starbase 515. The family sits down to dinner as Nash gently explains the move, emphasizing new responsibilities and the opportunities ahead. Alexandra reacts with anger and tears, throwing down her pencils and running to her room. Sara tries to reassure her about new friends and experiences, but the mention of Auntie Remy only deepens her sadness. Nash, struggling with guilt, makes coffee and joins Alexandra in her room, describing the base and promising father–daughter time and even a small repair kit of her own. Though still upset, Alexandra clings to her father, showing the family’s bond even as they face an unwelcome change together.
