Synopsis:

Assigned to set up the Security and Intelligence Support Lab, Ensign Dani Harper meets Ensign Hunter Lloyd and Ensign Rose Wilson for the first time. Together, they unpack crates, inventory equipment, and discuss the strange fortune of serving aboard a Galaxy-class vessel pulled from storage. Their conversation drifts into memories of the Mars attack, with each sharing where they were and how it affected their families. Rose is briefly called away for a subspace message regarding her brother aboard the USS Jacksonville, leaving Dani and Hunter to continue sorting the crates. The scene introduces the junior officers’ personalities and builds camaraderie as they begin settling into their new roles aboard the Imperator.
