Mission: Character Backstories
Location: Lain'Maar (well outside of Federation Territory)
Timeline: 2378

The Holana rocked as it entered the nebula as Kas manuved the vessel smoothly around a large pocket of gas. The shuttle was on loan from Kas’s people the Quath’Mar, his people had been voyaging through space hazards centuries. Kas smiled, he negotiated the loan with a Chieftain of his clan. He’d given his word that they would bring her shuttle back in one piece. This vessel has been modified with specific modifications to make it virtually invisible to more sensor arrays and her sensor array could detect anything bigger than a large humanoid. The door to the cockpit hissed open and a large Nausicaan entered and sat in the co-pilot seat. He was wearing a leather flight suit with an emerald green fur mantle across his shoulders.

“That is Johansen's seat Nokis.” Kas stated.

The large men looked at each other for a moment.

The door opened again and Remy stepped through and plopped down at the station behind Kas. She was wearing olive green pants and a black shirt and jacket with black boots - nothing Starfleet on her person for this particular mission. "This place you're taking us to legit, Nokis?" Remy asked.

They were headed to a planet that wasn't Federation territory, and it attracted a lot of business dealings from the type of people they were looking to track down.

“Not legit for you Starfleet types,” the Nausicaan spat. Starfleet should leave these matters to the Quath’Mar.”

Anger flashed in Kas's eyes, though Nokis had grown up in the same clan as Kas. The men had always been rivals, it was frustrating that the elders had insisted that Nokis join the mission. He gave Remy a look, she had to answer for herself if Nokis was ever going to respect her.

Remy stood up and made a show of making the few steps between his seat and hers look as sultry as possible. She lifted her foot, placing it on the seat squarely between the Nausicaan's thighs, her knee-high boot reaching the man's chin. Remy leaned in and spoke softly into Nokis' ear, "Surely you don't think that your good looks and impeccable manners are going to get us the kind of information we need to get in and out there without making a big ole' scene." While she spoke she subtly wrapped his long hair around her fingers. When she was done she took her foot down and yanked on his hair, taking him by surprise.

With his hair in her grips, and the Nausicaan under the scrutinizing gaze of Kas, Remy made her petty demand only to make a point. "Now if you'll excuse me, you're in my seat."

Nokis rose from his seat and began to laugh. “Beauty and guile, a dangerous combination.”

The large Nausicaan smirked at Kas, “You've always chosen partners well, Though how you attract them is a mystery.”

Remy spun around and delivered a swift sidekick to the back of the Nausican's knee causing him to loose his footing for a brief moment. "I appreciate the compliment, but you can keep your words to yourself," Remy said as she sat down in the co-pilot seat.

“We're Starfleet types as you've pointed out our relationship is professional.” Kas said in a neutral tone. “Besides, you'd have better luck if you were more diligent with your hygiene.”

“Bold words from a man who looks like his father got drunk and had his way with targ!” Nokis shouted.

Kas transferred the piloting controls to the copilot seat with the press of a button He turned the seat around and caught the Nausicaan by the throat.

“I won't have you talking about targs that way!” Kas flashed his perfect shark-like smile.

"Cool it, Kas. We don't want any blood on the floor this early in the trip. And I'd rather not waste our medical supplies on this mouth breather," Remy said nonchalantly as she piloted the craft, not bothering to look back for more than a brief second.

Nokia began to laugh, “You have spirit I'll give you that."

A human male with short brown hair and a dark complexion entered. he was dressed all black with scuffed-up leather boots. Kas smiles at the sight of him. It was clear he was trying to be undercover, but he looked like a Starfleet officer in civilian clothing. The man looked at the Hybrid.

“Are you boys ever going to bury the hatchet?” he smirked.

“That will do Rodriguez,” Kas stared at the navigation console as he spoke. “We will fulfill our duties, that is all.”

"Kas, we're just a few minutes out, you wanna take the helm back, while I rough Hector up a bit?" Remy asked.

"Of Course," Kas smiled.

"Rough me up?" Hector inquired.

"You can't go down there looking like you just replicated an outfit out of a Federation catalog. Come here," Remy ordered as she stood up from her chair. She gave him the once over and grabbed the front of his shirt with both fists and pulled, shaking him back and forth a few times.

"Okay so now I look like a vagrant." Hector sighed, "Happy?"

"Not enough. Let me see your collar," Remy said, grabbing a hold of the neckline and pulling on it in a few random places until she heard some threads snap. "Take your pants off," Remy told him.

"She's fast, it's been less than five minutes and she's got my pants off." Rodriguez said in Quatheen. His family had spent a good deal of with the Quath'Mar. Kas turned in his seat to look the man in the eye.

"Show respect Hector, never assume others can't understand you." Kas's face was neutral as he answered. "Now speak standard."

"I could care less about looking at what's underneath them, just let me borrow them for a few minutes," Remy said sounding bored.

Hector took off his pants and handed them to Remy without looking at her. Kas smiled at Remy's quip he was glad to see she was keeping up her language skills.

"We're heading for Treebrea Station," Kas said. "The Fleet will deny any knowledge of the mission so we can't look like Fleet officers."

Remy took the cuffs of his pants and rubbed the edges against the floor of the shuttle like a washboard until the edges began to show signs of fraying. "Did you really not have any old clothes you could dig up?" Remy asked as she rubbed the knees against the bottoms of her boots.

"Go easy on him," Kas grinned. He doesn't have as much undercover experience as we do."

Remy tossed Hector his pants. "Don't recycle these after if you plan to go undercover again. In fact, wear them a few more times doing something dirty. Go bareback riding or fix an engine or something."

Remy turned back to the console, "ETA?"

"Forty minutes," Kas reported. "We need to bring this shuttle back without a scratch or I'll be in worse standing with my people."

"Nokis, did you have a plan? Or were you leaving that to the professionals?" Remy asked spinning in her seat.

"I will follow your lead so I can pull your pathetic asses out of the fire!" Nokia grinned. He turned to Hector "Come, boy! Let's leave our brilliant leaders to their plans. We need to prep the gear and get your pretty hands dirty."

"Split up then," Remy said. "Kas and Nokis go in as heavies looking for information. Nokia and I hang back and see who might be trying to avoid them, and pick them off. If a little romance doesn't work, Nokia and take them out back? We'll swing around for back up."

Kas nodded. “That sounds like a good strategy.”

Kas pressed the COMM. “Dr Bryns, do you have our tricorders adjusted?”

=/\=Yep they will be able to detect the voltaic phage device with ten meters and vibrate so just clips them two your belts.=/\=

"Ten meters," Remy repeated. She took off her jacket, and secured a few items in her boots and pockets. She unzipped the front of her shirt to reveal a bit of cleavage and let her long red hair down so that it cascaded in waves around her.

"I"m ready, let's get this show on the ground," Remy said standing behind Kas' chair.

"Strap in it will be a rough landing," Kas said. "If we're splitting I suggest having myself and hector transport into the warehouse district."

Remy sat down and activated the safety restraints on the seat and looked at a map of the station while Kas started the descent. "After you get there, make your way toward toward this bar called The Landing. Should be a lot of people passing through there," Remy suggested.

"I've been there," Kas nodded as he landed the craft. "Nokis will watch your back."

"I feel safer already," Remy said dryly as she shot the Nausican a suspicious gaze. Once the shuttle had landed, Remy popped off the safety restraints, and typed in the command to open sliding doors revealing the back end of the runabout. She swiveled in her seat. "Get what you need, and I'll beam you two out."

Rodriguez nodded and grabbed his bag, "It's been a minute since we've been bar hopping."

"We're working," Kas reminded his friend as they moved to the transporter pads.

"Alright, see you boys later," Remy said with a smirk as she activated the transporter sending the two on their way.

A bit later Remy made her way into the bar by herself and picked a small table that was out of the way. If there was one surefire way for a young woman to get approached by the most disreputable people in a bar, it was to grab a table and look like you wanted to be left alone. Remy did just that.
