Everybody Loves the Winters

Kas shares personal details about Keena’s habits and fears, including her love of pancakes, her need for protein, and her reliance on a prayer lamp at night. The moment underscores Kas’ inner conflict at leaving his daughter, his trust in the Winters family, and his hope for stronger bonds of community. Nash warmly insists that when Kas returns, they’ll share not only a drink but a full family meal together, marking the beginning of a deeper friendship between the families.
