Captain Johansen informs the Winters family of the upcoming procedure and prepares them for transport. The family packs minimally, with Alex accompanying Brunel to provide comfort. The medical team gathers essential equipment, and the group beams aboard the *Sentinel*, where they are welcomed by Commander Volek. The vessel will take them to a neutral location for the formal procedure scheduled for the following morning.
